BREAKING: Newspaper distributes police propaganda without question

After over a week of civil unrest ultimately caused by unchecked police brutality and extrajudicial murders, press being attacked by police live on the air, and police repeatedly misleading the public, a major newspaper took the only reasonable course of action:

They asked what the police thought of the situation.

One officer replied, providing a complete fabrication about “looting”, which was dismissed out-of-hand by the supposed victim.

Undeterred by such things as “reality” and “facts”, the newspaper decided to use the claim as a headline, and never questioned it until half-way through the article.
